This is an inconstant perfomance, with some rather sloppy and uninspired playing. Average at best for Fall of the year and a great example of how the shows of May 1977 are, for the most part, superior to those from the Autumn.

you see mr. caboose, i told you your not alone. a lot of people find this show sloppy and boring compared to most efforts from '77.

mr. hucker, i agree this show is inconstant and rather sloppy at times, but i would hesitate to call the playing on any of the highlights i mentioned, "uninspired." perhaps this show isn't too exciting to you, but there are plenty of interesting things going on musically throughout the show, that i wouldn't call uninspired by any means.

and for what it's worth, i apologize for my overreaction the other day

well thanks for being understanding. i honestly didn't expect that reaction. i'm sure my post wasn't the first time someone here was having a bad day and used the ia as means of venting a bit of frustration. i could have lashed out at anyone at that time. something incredibly shitty happened, and the tiniest little thing was going to set me off until i calmed myself down that day.

btw, are you another one of the metropolitan fans here? arb says you sent him a copy of "the bad guys won."

"Nope, I'm a die hard Yankee fan!"

well fuck you and all the success you've gotten to enjoy over the years!

i like your insistence on a byob place. due to some unfortunate and unlucky legal circumstances in recent years, i am greatly in debt at the moment and surely don't want to be spending $30 or so just on drinks, which is approximately what i usually spend on drinks when i go out. hopefully i can make the next one. the job i'm working at the moment, very often calls me in with less than 24 hours notice, but i may be able to make an exception.
